Mae Kampong is a tiny village hidden in the mountains east of Chiang Mai. As far as I can tell, foreigners haven’t heard of it much and I was one of the only farangs (Westerners) in town, but it’s a popular tourist destination for Thai people and Cream wanted to bring me there. Visiting was a beautiful and authentic cultural experience.
